My first attempt at a hat for my niece...

If there is one thing my niece, Gracie, loves it's hats. One day while watching me crochet a scarf for her mother she asks, "Auntie Ariel, can you make me a hat? I'll love you forever." She then tilts her head to the side and gives me the cutest smile I had ever seen, how could I refuse? After she went home, I started thinking of ideas and picturing it in my head, I then came up with this. It's all single crochet and only took me about an hour, of course this one is too small but I'll be making it bigger. I think I did pretty good and Gracie will love it! Hi, I'm Nikki, welcome to my new blog. I plan to write on topics relevant to my life and the things I like to do. My hobbies include crocheting, photography, dancing, cooking/baking, reading, gardening and assorted crafts. I've been crocheting since I was 10 and come up with my own patterns, it's something that's passed down each generation in my family.
